Angel Simmons is a multi-talented artist from the south side of Chicago. She is an actress, author, coach, mentor, runway and print model, speaker and storyteller. Angel has been featured in books, magazines, the Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago Business, in Christian music, and as a guest on radio and television. She was the 2019-2020 Ms. Illinois Elite for the United America Pageant and advocates for suicide prevention. She now serves on the Miss Royalty International Pageant staff as a Contestant Coordinator and Coach.
Angel is the author of Love’s Great Design: Uncovering the Power and Purpose of Human Relationship (a 52-Week Devotional), and TARGET of LOVE: Surviving Narcissistic Abuse. She is the producer of the Verses, Vibes & Visions Live Lit Series and the co-host of the Do Not Submit Storytelling Open Mic show in Englewood. Her message and captivating stories have graced stages and panels at events and conferences throughout the country.
Angel’s screen credits to date include eight films, sixteen television series, one commercial, and an educational training video for the Florida Council Against Sexual Assault (FCASV). She is also the lead actress in the “My Last Party” Stage Production for suicide awareness and prevention sponsored by The REECH Project.
Angel’s credentials include certifications in Grief & Loss Coaching, Life Coaching, Relationship Coaching, Cognitive Behavior Therapy Life Coaching, Soul Care and Biblically based Counseling, Stress Management, Suicide Prevention, Trauma, Wellness and much more. Her company, The Message, Inc., provides Author Support, Event Planning and PR, Gifts and Merchandise, Keynotes and Workshops, Grief and Loss Support Coaching, Wellness Groups and other customized services for individuals, businesses and organizations.
